Viruman movie review

Story:

Viruman is the story of how a son wants to make his father pay for his sins.

Karthi, the youngest son of Prakash Raj, feels that his father is responsible for his mother’s death.

He wants to get his revenge on him. But he is also determined to get back with his brothers.

Was Karthi able to take his revenge, was he abled to get along with his brothers forms the crux of the story.

Analysis:

Director Muthaiah who is known for his rural based subjects has took up the relationship between a father and son for Viruman. The director has stuck to his basics and has presented the movie in his own style.

Karthi has delivered a decent performance and perfectly fits the character.  His dialogue deliver is on point and the emotional scenes hits the right chord. He is energetic throughout and has made the role his own.

Aditi makes a solid debut and she is sure to get a lot more opportunities in the future. Prakash Raj is villainism personified and is terrific in his role.

The movie also has an ensemble of supporting artists including Rajkiran, Singam Puli and Soori among others. Every actor in their respective character have done their part well.

The film is technically sound as well. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s BGM is top notch and songs are already a huge hit. Selvakumar S K’s camera work is impressive.
