Trigger movie review

Story:

Atharvaa is the son of a former cop who quit force and is now suffering from Azheimer’s.

Atharvaa is recruited directly by the Commissioner for an undercover operation.

Atharvaa crosses path with a gang that kidnaps children.

He starts investigating the case only to find out that his father was also investigating the case when he was on duty.

Who is behind the gang, what happened to Atharvaa’s father, was Atharvaa able to save the kidnapped children forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Sam Anton is crisp with his writing and keeps the audience hooked to the screen with a good screenplay.

The way in which he has set up the premise is very interesting and keeps the audience engaged.

Atharvaa has understood his role well and has delivered a commendable performance.

He is ably supported by the rest of the cast including Chinni Jayanth, Arun Pandian and Vinothini.

Tanya Ravichandran as Atharvaa’s love interest also has a role to play in the plot.

Editing by Ruben is to the point and effective.

Ghibran’s music adds more tension to the scenes and elevates them. Visuals by Krishnan Vasant is stylish.
