Story:

Ponvannan and Ilavarasu do several good deeds in their village and are respected by the villagers.

Their sons who are studying in a college are also good friends. Abhi Saravanan plays the role of Ponvannan’s son who is in love with his relative Shiny.

Meanwhile, Anthony Saamy is a staunch follower of caste system and is not in good terms with Ponvannan.

Anthony Saamy waits his turn to take his revenge on Ponvannan. This is when Abhi gets caught in the scheme of things.  What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director by Anthony Saamy, the movie sends a strong message about how youngsters may become of caste politics. The director has taken a crucial issue and has handled it in a matured way.

Abhi Saravanan shows variety in his acting. He has a calm demeanour in the first half and turns an action hero in the second half.

He has proved that he is a good actor, especially in the emotionally packed climax sequence.  Shiny gains the sympathy of the audience as the helpless lover. Ponvannan and Ilavarasu are impressive in their respective roles.

Anthony Saamy as the antagonist is terrifying and instils fear. The movie is technically sound as well.

Nagar Udhayan’s music is good. Christopher-Saleem’s cinematography has captured the proceedings in an interesting manner.
