RRR movie review

Story:

RRR unravels the fictional journey of two of India’s greatest and unsung freedom fighters.

Malli, a tribal girl is kidnapped by the britishers. Jr NTR is entrusted with bringing her back.

On the other hand Ram Charan is given the task of catching him.

Who wins this battle and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

The movie is packed with spellbinding performances. Ram Charan and NTR excell in their respective roles as Ram and Bheem.

NTR plays the emotional anchor role, while Ram Charan gets a completely different role.

Kudos to Rajamouli for balancing the characters of both the heros without comprising in the story as well.

Though there is a slight slackness in the narrative, there are no dull moments.

The first half is fabulous and second half is completely engaging. Alia bhatt has nothing significant to do barring a couple of vital moments with NTR.

Ajay Devgn who comes in the flashback is impressive. Keeravani’s background score is terrific.

Cinematogrpahy by Senthil is excellent. The forest background sequences and night shots are wonderfully captured.
