The movie is set in a village near Pollachi. Three children from the dalit community go missing, out of this the body of two girls are found hanging from a tree.

There is no clue about what happened to the third girl. Udhayanidhi Stalin is deputed to investigate this case. However, he faces stiff resistance from his higher officials and subordinates as well.

Udhayanidhi feels that Minister’s relative is involved in the murder and starts investigating from the angle.

Was Udhayanidhi able to find the accused, why were the girls murdered, Did Udhay rescue the third girl forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Though billed as the remake of Bollywood flick ‘Article 15′, Director Arunraja Kamaraj has made changes to the script to suit the Tamil audience.

The location of the story, characters and casting all add more value to the core subject. Instead of just making it a thriller, Arunraja has tried to show how cast discrimination is still prevalent.

Udhayanidhi plays a completely serious role. His dialogues are politically loaded as well.

Tanya as Udhay’s wife does not have much screen space. Shivana Rajasekar comes as someone who fights for her sister.

Aari Arjun makes an impact with the small screen space that he gets.

Dhibu Ninan Thomas’ BGM adds more intensity for the proceedings. Cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan has shown the other side of Pollachi.
