Maayon movie review

Story:

Sibi is a smuggler, who is entrusted with the task of stealing a hidden treasure from an ancient temple.

However, the temple has a myth, according to after the Kurukshetra war Krishan rested in this temple.

So anyone who enters the temple after 6 pm will either lose their mind or their life.

What happens next and was Sibi able to smuggle the treasure forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Story and screenplay of the film is by Arunmozhi Manickam who does a decent job with having enough twists to keep the audience engaged.

Director Kishore has ensured that the flow of the movie is engaging.

However, too much of information is dished out in the first half which will be difficult to grab all at once.

While there are some extraordinary scenes, some of them fall flat. Sibi Raj tries his best to deliver the different layers that his character has.

Tanya Ravichandran does not have much to do in the flick.

Harish Paredi come in a usual role and is not utilised much.

Ilayaraja tries his best to compensate for some of the scenes.

Rating: 3.2/5
