Story:

His son Vasanth Ravi, a cop goes missing, Rajinikanth unearths the secret behind the last case investigated by his son only to know that there is an underground mafia spearheaded by Vinayakan.

What does Rajinikanth do after that forms the rest of the story:

Analysis:

Jailer is a typical Nelson film filled with dark humour, deadpan reactions from actors, violence, bloodshed, and stylish shots.

Add Rajinikanth’s swag, style and humour sense to this.  Rajinikanth looks super stylish and the vintage swag can be witnesses in several scenes.

Nelson takes full advantage of Rajinikanth’s stardom and has presented a treat for his fans.

The idea of using Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff strikes well, especially in climax sequences has worked out really well.

Vinayakan, as the deadly villain has pulled off his role with sheer perfection.

The movie is filled with several prominent artists and they have all delivered what was expected from them.

Anirudh’s background score is pulsating and camerawork by Vijay Kartik Kannan suits well with the theme of the movie.
