Vijay Floats New Political Party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam
Actor Vijay has announced the launch of his political party and made it official.
The actor’s party is called Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam. The actor announced it on social media while releasing a statement on starting his own party.
It also revealed that the actor’s party will be contesting the 2026 Assembly elections, while crediting Vijay as the party president.
However, it is not revealed if Vijay will contest the elections.
In the statement released by the party, it said, “Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has been conducting social welfare activities for several years now. However, to bring a change in the society cannot be brought by a fan club alone, for which a political presence is required. As you all know the political situation now, which is riddled with corruption and malpractices in the administration on one side, while on the other is divisive politics based on caste and religion, hindering people’s development.”
In order to bring unity and get rid of such problems, Vijay has announced his political party. The statement also added, “The politics of the party should abide by our Constitution and will uphold the right of equality and that every should be treated in the same manner. The party will try to uphold these values with the power of the people. A massive people’s support is needed.”
