Nigel and Harry have collaborated on many projects and productions, the last two films are Going Away and Calcutta I’m Sorry.
This latest production is an English language, family drama set in a suburb of Chennai employing a professional cast and crew.

STORY
An old Anglo-Indian man Richard Walters, on his death bed, realises that he has never acknowledged both sides of his mixed heritage, only the British male line while looking down and being ashamed of his Indian connections and ancestry.
As he lies dying on the last day of his long life, he decides to make amends and to attain inner peace by apologising to his grandson’s Indian wife Shanthi, on behalf of all Indians for his racist behaviour. However, not all of his family are happy with his decision which ignites conflict between the two brothers. Peter lives in Chennai, Freddy in Melbourne, who left India as part of the Anglo-Indian diaspora, who has returned to farewell Richard; his estranged father. Prejudices, jealousness and disparities surface and add confusion to Richards last minuet attempt to make good. As Richard draws his last breath, he whispers a name but it is not his wife’s, his sons or his Makers name but that of his boyhood nanny; Mary Rani…
