Shalini’s role in Ajith’s Dare Devil takes an unexpected turn
Fresh speculation has surrounded Shalini’s involvement in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Dare Devil, with reports suggesting that her contribution may come from behind the camera rather than through an acting appearance.
Shalini, who has largely stayed away from acting for several years, was reportedly being considered by director Adhik Ravichandran for a special appearance in the film.
Recent reports, however, indicate that she is not looking to return to acting at this stage and may instead be involved with the production.
Ajith has officially announced Dare Devil as his next film, confirming another collaboration with Adhik Ravichandran. The two previously worked together on the 2025 film Good Bad Ugly.
The new movie is being produced by Shalini under the banner Brave Hearts Production. Adhik Ravichandran announced the project on X. The first-look poster features the title Dare Devil in striking red lettering across a set of nine white dice, suggesting themes involving risk, luck, gambling or unexpected twists.
In his announcement, the director celebrated Ajith’s long career and thanked the actor for his trust and support, while also acknowledging Shalini and Brave Hearts Production.
