Ravi Mohan keeps politics door open while focusing on films
Actor Ravi Mohan has offered a cautious response to questions about whether he might enter politics.
Speaking at a recent press interaction, he said people did not need to become politicians to contribute to society, pointing to charitable and socially beneficial work as something anyone could undertake.
At the same time, he did not completely rule out entering politics in the future, saying there would be nothing wrong with joining the political arena if he eventually developed an interest in it.
Professionally, Ravi Mohan has several projects underway. He is working on his directorial debut An Ordinary Man, which he describes as a story about the extraordinary qualities of an ordinary person.
He has also joined the cast of Benz, part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, alongside Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
Ravi Mohan also has Karathey Babu, directed by Ganesh K Babu, scheduled for release on August 28. Other projects in his lineup include Genie and Karthik Yogi’s Bro Club.
