Ranam Aram Thavarel movie review
Story:
Dismembered body parts are found burnt separately at different places in Chennai. Vaibhav, a crime story writer and sketcher of criminals at the police station, comes to help in the investigation.
It turns out that the body parts found in his efforts belong to different people. Meanwhile, the inspector investigating the case also goes missing.
This brings the case to Tanya Hope. They both work together to find the culprits in the case. Every time you get close to the criminals, a series of shocking incidents await. Were they finally able find the real culprits? What is the reason for all these murders forms the crux of the story.
Analysis:
Directed by Sherief, the first of the movie piques the interest of the audience with some neat suspense.
The second half is a tad slower compared to the first half, however, the director manages to hold the interest of the audience till the very end.
Since this is his 25th film, Vaibhav has tried to show variations and it has worked out really well for the character. The way in which he is involved in the investigation sequences are really impressive.
Tanya Hope is rigid as the strict cop. Nandhita has a brief role and leaves a mark in the screenspace that she gets.
Arrol Corelli’s music adds to the momentum of the movie.
Manimozhiyan Ramadurai’s camerawork is apt for the genre of the movie. Rest of the technical aspects are good.
Rating: 3.3/5
