Rajinikanth lauds Thalaivi
Superstar Rajinikanth watched director Vijay’s latest release Thalaivii at a private screening and appreacited the team.
It is learnt that Rajinikanth called director Vijay over the phone and appreciated the film, for the grand and authentic portrayal of J Jayalalithaa’s life on the big screen.
Meanwhile, while Kangana Ranaut has been garnering praise for her performance in Thalaivii, not many know that late J Jayalalithaa wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play her role.
Veteran actress Simi Garewal recently attended a special screening of the film by Kangana. After watching the movie, she took to her Twitter handle to review the film.
She said that although she doesn’t approve of Kangana’s radical comments, she supports her acting talent. Simi also revealed that although Jayalalithaa wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play her role, she would have approved of Kangana’s portrayal.
