People will bring back AIADMK to power: Palaniswami
“People will bring back the AIADMK to power in Tamil Nadu,” said Edappadi K. Palaniswami while addressing a campaign meeting in Aruppukottai on Tuesday.
The AIADMK General Secretary, who is also the Leader of the Opposition and former Chief Minister, is currently on a whirlwind campaign tour across the state ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
As part of this tour, he campaigned in Aruppukottai Assembly constituency in Virudhunagar district, addressing a public gathering near Gandhi Nagar bus stand.
He sought votes for candidates contesting on behalf of the AIADMK and its allies in the National Democratic Alliance.
Palaniswami urged voters to support the alliance candidates and ensure victory, expressing confidence that the people would once again choose the AIADMK to form the government in the state.
EPS alleged that corruption is deeply rooted in the DMK’s governance and accused the party of being the “very source” of corrupt practices.
He claimed that people of Tamil Nadu are aware of these issues and are seeking change in the upcoming Assembly elections.
The AIADMK leader further criticized the functioning of the DMK government under Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, alleging administrative failures and lack of transparency.
His remarks are part of a broader campaign strategy focusing on corruption, law and order, and governance issues.
