Mahaan Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu’s 355th Aradhana Mahothsava to be Celebrated at Dakshina Mantralaya, Triplicane
Chennai, August 27, 2026: The 355th Aradhana Mahothsava of Mahaan Sri Raghavendra Guru Swamigalu will be celebrated with devotion and grandeur from August 27 to September 2, 2026, at the “Dakshina Mantralaya” Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Triplicane, Chennai.
The week-long spiritual celebrations are being conducted with the grace of Sri Harivayu Gurugalu and the divine blessings of Prathasmaraneeya Sri Sri 1008 Sri Suyatheeendra Theertharu. The celebrations are also being held with the blessings of Sri Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Theertharu Swamy, Head of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Mantralayam.
The Aradhana Mahothsava will feature a series of special religious and spiritual programmes, including Veda Parayana, Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Kanakabhishekam, Mahapooja, Mahamangalarthi, Ashtavadhana Seva, Rathothsava, Pallakki Utsava, Golden Chariot procession, Dolothsava and cultural programmes.
The three principal Aradhana days will be observed as follows:
- August 29, 2026 – Saturday: Poorva Aradhana
- August 30, 2026 – Sunday: Madhya Aradhana
- August 31, 2026 – Monday: Uthra Aradhana
On August 29, the Poorva Aradhana will include special Panchamrutha Seva, Kanakabhishekam, Mahapooja and Theertha Prasada. The evening will feature Rajatha Pallakki Utsava, Golden Chariot Rathothsava, Ashtavadhana Seva and Mahamangalarthi.
The Madhya Aradhana on August 30 will include special religious rituals followed by the grand procession of Prahalatha Rayaru through the four Mada Streets, along with Ashtavadhana Seva and Mahamangalarthi.
The Uthra Aradhana on August 31 will feature Vasanthothsava, Rathothsava, Kanakabhishekam, Mahapooja and Theertha Prasada. A special cultural programme will be held in the evening.
The celebrations will continue on September 1 with Sri Sugnanendra Theertha Aradhana, followed by Ashtavadhana Seva and Mahamangalarthi. On September 2, the concluding Sarva Samarpana Utsava will be conducted with Pallakki Utsava, Golden Rathothsava, special Dolothsava (Unjal Utsava), Ashtavadhana Seva, Mahamangalarthi and Mangalam.
Annadhanam for Devotees
As part of the Aradhana celebrations, Annadhanam will be organised from August 29 to August 31, 2026, between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM at Sri Raghavendra Mutt Premises.
