Love Today movie review
Story:
Pradeep and Ivana are in love. They decide to get married after getting permission from their parents.
Pradeep comes to see Ivana’s father Sathyaraj and talks to him about their love.
Immediately Sathyaraj puts a condition to both of them. He says that if they both are true lovers then they must exchange their cell phones for just one day.
They both agree to that condition and exchange cell phones. This causes many problems for the lovers.
What are those problems, were the lovers able to overcome them and marry forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director Pradeep has avoided unnecessary buildup in the movie and has tried to show the life of two normal lovers.
He has tried to convey modern day love with a touch of humour.
Even though there are a few logical misses, they can be ignored. Pradeep makes a decent debut as an actor. His boy next door look suits the character well.
Ivana is impressive in her role. She scores well in the emotional role.
Rest of the cast inclduing Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu and Radhika Sarathkumar have all done their part well.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is the backbone of the movie.
Dinesh Purushothaman’s camerawork is impressive. Rest of the technical aspects are okay as well.
