Keerthy Suresh and Mysskin team up for Sathyavan Savithiri; teaser promises a mix of drama and humour

The makers of Sathyavan Savithiri have unveiled the first official teaser of the upcoming Tamil film, featuring Keerthy Suresh and Mysskin in the lead roles.

Written and directed by debutant filmmaker Praveen S Vijaay, the film follows a young lawyer as she takes on her first major case. Keerthy plays an energetic and cheerful woman whose professional responsibilities begin to weigh heavily on her as she confronts emotional and personal struggles.

The teaser combines entertaining moments with hints of more intense developments, offering a glimpse into a story that blends legal drama with elements of humour and emotional conflict.

The film marks the first time Keerthy Suresh and Mysskin have appeared together as actors. The supporting cast includes Charukesh, Bala Saravanan and Shilpa Manjunath, among others.

Sathyavan Savithiri is produced by Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel under the Drumsticks Productions banner, with S. Vaishnavi Vivekchandar of ZEE Studios serving as co-producer.

The technical crew includes composer Sam C.S., cinematographer Arul Vincent, editor Prasanna G.K. and art directors Prem Karunthamalai and A.M. Anandharaj. Besides directing the film and writing its screenplay, Praveen S Vijaay has also contributed as a lyricist. Other songs feature lyrics by Mohan Raja and Uma Devi.

In a recent interview with Cinema Vikatan, the director discussed the film’s themes, drawing comparisons with legal dramas such as Vidhi. He explained that the story examines how characters pursue justice while dealing with personal challenges.

Praveen also praised Keerthy’s performance, stating that she had taken her acting to another level following her acclaimed work in Mahanati.

Sathyavan Savithiri is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on November 20, with a Telugu-dubbed version also expected.

The film will face competition at the box office from Om, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and featuring Dhanush and Mammootty, which is also slated for release on the same date.
