Jayam Ravi’s Iraivan gets ‘A’ certificate
Jayam Ravi’s upcoming film, Iraivan, is all set to hit screens on September 28.
Written and directed by Ahmed, the project stars Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara and Rahul Bose in the lead.
This is the second time that Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara are coming together for a film after Thani Oruvan (2015).
With just a few days to go for the release, the film has been censored with the ‘A’ certificate.
It is said that there has only been two cuts in the film, and that the rest is filled with some raw and brutal scenes.
This is the second time that a Jayam Ravi film is getting the ‘A’ certificate. The last time his film got the ‘Adults only’ certificate was for director Ameer’s Aadhibhagavan (2013). Iraivan’s runtime is 2 hours 33 minutes 41 seconds.
Jayam Ravi plays Arjun, a cop, who has no mercy for the bad guys in this intense edge-of-the-seat film. He is someone who strongly believes that justice delayed is justice denied.
