Drama movie review
Story:
Jai Bala joins as a sub inspector at a police in remote village.
Charlie also works as a head constable in the same police station.
Jai Bala’s lover Kayal wants to surprise him by celebrating his birthday in the station.
Power is cut during the celebrations, during which Charlie is murdered.
Kishore is deputed to find the mystery surrounding Charlie’s death. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director Aju Kizhumala should be appreciated for his efforts in making such a movie which takes place in one location and in a single shot.
However, a better screenplay would have made the movie all the more interesting. Kishore Kumar shines with his seasoned acting and is impressive in the investigation scenes.
Charlie shines with his natural acting. Jai Bala has done his part well and suits the character.
Rest of the cast including Vincent Nakul, Vinoth, Munna, Kavya have all delivered what was expected from them.
Bijibal’s Bgm is impressive and Shamsudheen’s camerawork has done an effective job.
