Dhruv Vikram steps into the spotlight as a stuntman in Jackie glimpse
The makers of Dhruv Vikram’s upcoming film Jackie have released a lengthy glimpse that offers the first substantial look at his character and the film’s action-driven world.
The more-than-four-minute video introduces Dhruv as a professional stuntman who agrees to perform a risky sequence after the lead actor refuses to attempt it over safety concerns. The character’s problems, however, appear to extend well beyond the film set.
Directed by Karan Arvind Kumar, who has previously worked on projects including Karuppu and Sorgavaasal, Jackie marks his debut as a director.
The glimpse points towards a commercial action film built around stunts and high-energy sequences. Dhruv arrives at the project after the success of Mari Selvaraj’s Bison Kaalamaadan.
The cast also includes Sai Dheena, Arunachaleshwaran Pa and Prudhvi Raj.
Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music, while Viki is handling cinematography. Jayasuriya S is the editor and GM Sekhar serves as production designer. Action sequences are being choreographed by Vikram Mor. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
