D-Block movie review

Story:

The movie begins with a girl being tortured in a secluded house. Four years later, another girl disappears from a college hostel constructed illegally within forest range.

She is later found dead. The girl is friends with Arulnithi, who sets out to find the reason behind her death.

What happend to the girl and was Arulnithi able to find the reason behind it forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Youtuber Vijay Kumar makes his debut with this flick.

He has succeeded in keeping the proceedings in an interesting manner.

However, better writing in the first half would have made the movie all the more better.

The slag in the first half is compensated in the second half of the flick, especially in the thrill moments.

Arulnithi has once again done a commendable job in the genre in which he is comfortable with.

AVantaika Mishra delivers a decent performance, but there is still scope for improvement.

Cinematography by Aravinnd Singh is good and music by Ron Ethan compliments the scenes well.

Rating: 3.2/5
