Conjuring Kannappan movie review

Story:

Sathish and his family pluck feathers from a dreamcatcher, which takes them to a dreamworld haunted by a malevolent ghost.

Sathish is caught between the reality and the dreamworld and his life is in stake in both the worlds.

How does Sathish and his family escape from the ghost.

What does the ghost wants, and what is its backstory forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Selvin Raj Xavier has made the movie with a mix of several elements including fantasy, horror, comedy and cinematic experience.

The director succeeds in the way in which he is able to give ample scope for each of the elements.

Sathish is good in the role which suits him very well. The way in which he carries the character is impressive.

The character undergoes several emotions and Sathish has portrayed them in an effective manner.

Regina Cassandra gets a meaty role after a long time and has done complete justice to her character.

Rest of the cast including VTV Ganesh, Nasser, Saranya Ponvannan, Redin Kingsly and Anandraj have all delivered what was expected from them.

The movie is technically sound with Yuvan Sankar Raja’s music and Yuva’s camerawork.
