Bakasuran movie review

Story:

Selvaraghavan is from a village in Cuddalore who stays in Salem and does service in a temple. Though he looks like a calm person who does not get into any trouble he murders three people.

On the other hand former army personnel Natty is investigating the reason behind the death of his niece. Why is Selvaraghavan murdering these people.

Was Natty able to find the reason behind the death of the death of his niece. How are these stories interconnected forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Mohan G has spoke about the sexual harrasments that girls are subject to through mobile phones and in educational institutions.

While the concept is good, the execution could have been better. Selvaraghavan is apt for his role of an innocent father from village.

This is by far his best performance till date. He has conveyed the pain and emotions of his character in an effective manner.

Natty as the former Army Major and present day YouTube investigator is impressive. He helps in keeping the momentum of the movie alive.

K Rajan as Selvaraghavan’s father and Radha Ravi as the College Chancellor, Richa as Selvaragahvan’s daughter have all done their part well. Music by Sam CS is pulsating. Rest of the technical aspects are good.
