Actor Vivek passes away
Popular actor Vivek, who was hospitalised after he suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday, passed away during the early hours of today.
According to sources, the ace comedian, fondly called as Chinna Kalaivanar by fans, breathed his last at around 4.45 am today at a private hospital at Vadapalani in Chennai.
Top leaders, film personalities and fans have been mourning the death of Vivek. On Friday, he was placed on the ECMO machine, which pumps and oxygenates bloods outside the body.
Only on Thursday, the actor was declared as state’s ambassador for creating public health messages. He took the Covid vaccine in the Government Omandurar Hospital and urged many others to come forward to take the vaccine.
