Zee Tamil secures satellite rights for Vijay’s final film Jana Nayagan
Zee Tamil has officially bagged the satellite rights for Jana Nayagan.
The deal is reported to be worth a staggering Rs 64 crore, marking one of the highest prices ever paid for a Tamil film’s television rights.
As the final cinematic outing for Vijay before his full-scale transition into politics, the film has generated unprecedented demand across all media platforms.
Total non-theatrical revenue, including digital and audio rights, is estimated to have already crossed the Rs 390 crore mark, reflecting the immense commercial weight of Vijay’s swan song.
Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the action-thriller features a high-profile ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The film’s momentum is building rapidly following the release of its first two singles, “Thalapathy Kacheri” and “Oru Pere Varalaaru,” composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
