Yogi Babu’s joke about family life wins attention

Actor Yogi Babu once again showcased his trademark humour at a recent promotional event for Pyaar Prema Kalyanam.

During the trailer launch, actor Ilan asked Yogi Babu about the most memorable gift he had received from his wife after marriage. Rather than giving a conventional answer, the comedian joked that having three children was the biggest gift she had given him.

When Ilan playfully asked when he planned to have another child, Yogi Babu responded that three children were already enough and joked about how difficult it was to get proper sleep while raising them.

The exchange amused those present and subsequently drew attention online, with viewers appreciating the actor’s spontaneous humour.

Yogi Babu began his career through the television comedy programme Lollu Sabha before moving into Tamil films. After appearing in smaller roles in movies including Yogi, Pattathu Yaanai, Soodhu Kavvum, Veeram and Maan Karate, he gradually became one of Tamil cinema’s most recognisable comedy and character actors.

He later took on leading roles in films such as Kolamaavu Kokila and Mandela. Mandela earned significant critical praise and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil.

In recent years, Yogi Babu has continued to alternate between comedy, supporting roles and lead characters, appearing in movies such as Jailer, Maaveeran, Good Bad Ugly, Tourist Family, Thalaivan Thalaivi and Gatta Kusthi 2.

His latest comments at the Pyaar Prema Kalyanam event have added another light-hearted moment to his growing collection of memorable public appearances.
