Underlining that “Nari Shakti” is the “biggest guarantee” for Viksit Bharat though “there is a lot of discussion in the country on Modi’s guarantee”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a frontal attack Wednesday on the Congress and Left parties, major constituents of the Opposition.

Addressing a massive gathering of women in Thrissur in Kerala — the event was called the Sthree Shakthi Modikkoppam Mahila Sangamam (women power with Modi) — the Prime Minister also attacked the Opposition bloc over matters of faith.
“The INDIAlliance keeps hurting our faith. They have made our temples and festivals a medium for loot. The politics that is being played with Thrissur Pooram (annual temple festival) is unfortunate. The mismanagement that has come to light in Sabarimala has inconvenienced devotees. This is proof of the incompetence of the state government here,” he said.
