Will not let DMK loot the money for Tamil Nadu’s development: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lashed out at the DMK government and stated that he will not let DMK loot the money for the development of Tamil Nadu.

Addressing a rally in Chennai, PM Modi said, “I want to tell the DMK that Modi will not let you loot the money for the development of Tamil Nadu. And the money that you have looted will be collected and spent on the people of Tamil Nadu. This is Modi’s guarantee.”

He also alleged that the state government did not do flood management during the severe inundation Chennai faced last December, but instead “managed” the media to send out the message that everything is fine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited a nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu’s Kalpakkam where a key procedure regarding power generation commenced.

The commencement of ‘core loading’ of the country’s indigenous Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) at Kalpakkam, located about 60 km from Chennai happened in the presence of the PM.

This 500 MWe fast breeder reactor has also been developed by Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI).

On RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav’s jibe that PM Modi does not have a family, he said this was the INDIA bloc’s “new formula” to abuse him. However, the people across the country said in one voice that they belong to Modi’s family, he added.
