Why Kanimozhi skipped Udhayanidhi event

In response to growing speculation regarding potential discord within the DMK political leadership, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has dismissed rumors of a rift between him and his aunt and MP Kanimozhi. The rumors, which have circulated widely in recent days, were addressed by Udhayanidhi, who clarified that any differences were exaggerated and that both leaders share a strong and collaborative relationship.

Udhayanidhi’s remarks came amid discussions about the public appearances of both leaders. He noted that Kanimozhi, who is currently abroad, will return shortly and join him at upcoming events, including a key political gathering in Thoothukudi. Udhayanidhi emphasized that the two leaders, who are both prominent members of the DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), will continue to work closely together for the welfare of Tamil Nadu.

The speculation about a rift had gained traction after Kanimozhi’s absence from several recent party functions, fueling rumours about her strained relationship with Udhayanidhi. However, Udhayanidhi reassured the public that the DMK leadership remains united, and their political endeavors will proceed smoothly with full cooperation.

The Thoothukudi event, which is expected to draw significant attention, is expected to bring Udhayanidhi and Kanimozhi together on stage, reaffirming the strength of the party’s leadership and unity.
