Weapon gears up for OTT release
Weapon starring actors Vasanth Ravi and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, is gearing up for its streaming debut.
The film is all set to premiere on Aha Tamil on July 12. Weapon will also be available on OTTplay Premium as well.
Weapon is a superhuman action thriller film. It is directed by filmmaker Guhan Seniappan and hit the big screens on June 7. It marked the first time Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi collaborated.
Weapon is about a known YouTuber Agni, who is famed for showcasing superhumans.
As he discovers suspicious footage of a boy surviving a truck accident, it leads him into an investigation, resulting in a clash with a powerful secret society. This leaves him to realise that he has a part of his superhuman identity, leading to a confrontation with his father.
The cast of Weapon includes Sathyaraj, Vasanth Ravi, Rajiv Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, Yashika Aannand, Mime Gopi, Kaniha, Gajaraj, Syed Subhan, Baradwaj Rangan, Velu Prabhakaran, Maya Krishnan, Shiyas Kareem, Benito Franklin, Raghu Esakki and others.
