Vishnu Edavan plans action film with Vikram after Hi
Director and lyricist Vishnu Edavan has revealed that he is discussing his next project with actor Vikram.
Vishnu is currently preparing for the theatrical release of his directorial debut Hi, which stars Nayanthara and Kavin and is scheduled to reach cinemas on August 28.
In a recent promotional interaction, Vishnu said Vikram had responded positively to the story of his proposed next film. The director is awaiting the actor’s final confirmation before moving ahead.
According to Vishnu, the project will be an action entertainer designed around a strong theatrical experience. He plans to concentrate on the film after completing the promotional and release work for Hi.
Vikram’s recent appearance was in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, directed by SU Arunkumar. He is also working with director Anand Shankar, with whom he previously collaborated on Iru Mugan, for his 63rd film.
Hi is being presented by Rowdy Pictures, associated with Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, along with Seven Screen Studio. Vishnu Edavan previously worked as an assistant director with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and is also known for his work as a lyricist.
The film features a large supporting cast including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Prabhu, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan, Amrutha Srinivasan, Aadhithya Kadhir, Kureshi, FEFSI Vijayan, Renji Panicker, Kaviya Arivumani and Mirchy Kemy.
Jen Martin has composed the music, while Rajesh Shukla handles cinematography and Philomin Raj is the editor. Kannan S is the art director and Dinesh Kasi is responsible for the stunt choreography.
