Vishal’s upcoming flick titled Magudam
Actor Vishal’s highly-anticipated 35th film, now officially titled Magudam, is generating significant buzz in the Tamil film industry.
The project marks a major collaboration between Vishal and director Ravi Arasu, known for his intense action dramas like Eetti.
The film is also a milestone for Super Good Films as their 99th production, a banner that has a history of introducing talented filmmakers and delivering commercial hits.
The film boasts a strong cast, including Dushara Vijayan in her first collaboration with Vishal, and Anjali, who reunites with him after their previous film Madha Gaja Raja.
Veteran actor Thambi Ramaiah and Yogi Babu also have pivotal roles. The technical crew is equally impressive, with G.V. Prakash Kumar composing the music, marking his second collaboration with the actor after the blockbuster Mark Antony. Richard M. Nathan, who worked on Madha Gaja Raja, is the cinematographer, while N. B. Srikanth is handling the editing.
The title teaser hints at a gangster drama set in a bustling harbor, with Vishal’s character appearing to be a powerful figure or leader among the port workers.
The film’s production is currently in its second schedule of shooting in Ooty, where the team is focusing on filming high-octane action seque nces.
