Vikram to announce Thangalaan release date
The release date of Vikram’s upcoming flick Thangalaan is all set to be announced in a few hours.
The film, directed by Pa Ranjith, is slated for release for Pongal, 2024.
Vikram made the announcement with a brand new poster on his social media handle that the deets about the release date will be revealed today.
Thangalaan marks Vikram’s maiden collaboration with Pa Ranjith and the film is billed as a period drama, which is set in the pre-independence era.
The plot revolves around the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields and the discrimination faced by a marginalized community.
The film’s director had earlier revealed that the plot was inspired by true events in the lives of mine workers at KGF.
