Vikram hints at Mahaan 2
Vikram teased his fans on Sunday with hints of a potential sequel to his 2022 hit, Mahaan.
He shared glimpses from a photoshoot showcasing his transformation into an aged Gandhi Mahaan, evident from the diminished muscle mass and abundance of grey hair.
Captioning the post with “Mahaan2!!?,” Vikram sparked speculation about the sequel.
This post followed a celebration of the movie’s second anniversary the day before, where Vikram expressed gratitude to director Karthik Subbaraj for creating one of his favourite characters in Mahaan.
Subbaraj reciprocated the sentiment, praising Vikram as a “supreme performer.”
The original Mahaan premiered directly on streaming in February 2022 due to pandemic constraints, a decision that didn’t sit well with the cast and crew. Producer SS Lalit Kumar’s firm decision left little room for discussion.
