Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja Release Trailer is out
Vijay Sethupathi is set to return to the big screens with Maharaja.
The movie, which is written and directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, marks the National award-winning actor’s 50th outing in cinema. Anurag Kashyap, the Bollywood filmmaker is playing a pivotal character in the film, which is slated to hit the theatres on June 14, 2024.
Ahead of the film’s theatrical release, the makers revealed the Maharaja release trailer on social media.
The highly promising release trailer of Maharaja showcases the journey of a barber, who files a police complaint stating his ‘Lakshmi’ has been taken away by burglars.
However, it is not revealed if the protagonist is talking about a person, or cryptically hinting at the large amount of money or a valuable object, he has been hiding at home.
When the police fail to find his ‘Lakshmi’ and mistreat him, the protagonist takes matter into his own hands. Soon he crosses path with the character played by Anurag Kashyap, which leads to major bloodshed.
