Vijay Sethupathi’s Ace gets U/A certificate
Vijay Sethupathi, who was recently seen in more serious roles with films like Maharaja and Viduthalai: Part 2, is back to doing more lighter and casual roles with the upcoming film Ace which is set to hit the screens on 23 May.
The film has been certified U/A and has a runtime of two hours and 36 minutes.
The trailer of Ace was released by the makers on social media recently. The trailer gives us the hope that Ace will be a fun-filled heist film. It begins with introducing the hero, who has erased all his past identities and has arrived in Malaysia.
He goes by the name Bold Kannan and gets acquainted with Yogi Babu. Soon, we see that he is planning a heist and not much about the background and reasons are revealed. Ace trailer promises the film to be a crime comedy revolving around a heist.
The film is directed by Aarumugakumar, who has previously worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren.
The film will feature Kannada actor Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, marking her foray into Tamil cinema.
Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithveeraj, BS Avinash, Muthu Kumar, Raj Kumar, Denes Kumar, and others are also part of the film.
