Video about Suriya’s Vaadivaasal goes viral on social media
Fans of Suriya are eagerly awaiting an update from his project with Siva, which is tentatively being referred to as Suriya42, a video of actor Tamizh talking about Vaadivaasal is doing the rounds.
During the promotions of the Malayalam film, Pakalum Paathiravum, actor Tamizh spoke about how they shot for the trailer of Vaadivaasal and he suffered injury on his hands after a bull hit him.
“While shooting for the trailer, a Jallikattu bull hit me on my hand and I fell at least 10 feet away. I suffered a major injury on my hand and still have those scars. In the same shot, the bull was about to hit Suriya sir as well but it stopped right before it reached him. Vetri Maaran sir immediately stopped the shoot and called everyone outside.”
When quizzed if Suriya was wary of the bull after that, Tamizh said, ” In fact, he was more than excited to be on the field. He began chasing the bull. He is growing bulls at his house to get into the skin of the character. During the shoot, we will be using the same bull. The Taanakaaran director also revealed that the shoot is likely to begin in April or May.
It is to be noted that Tamizh and Suriya had earlier worked together in the critically acclaimed Jai Bhim. Suriya will be playing a Jallikattu bull tamer for the first time in his career. Vaadivaasal will also mark his maiden collaboration with Vetri Maaran.
