Veteran director-actor K. Bhagyaraj dies of cardiac arrest, film industry in shock

Veteran Tamil filmmaker, actor, writer and producer K. Bhagyaraj passed away on Saturday following a cardiac arrest. He was 73.
According to reports, Bhagyaraj suffered a sudden cardiac emergency and was rushed to a hospital in Chennai. Despite efforts by doctors, he could not be revived. His passing marks the end of an illustrious career that spanned more than four decades and left an indelible mark on Tamil cinema.
