Velammal Student Triumphs in Open Karate Championship

Master R Mugundan , Class 8 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus outshined at the Budo Academy – YMSSKF 7th Open Karate Championship and bagged the third position  in the individual 12-14 yrs category held at Sri Vembuli Amman Kalyana Mandapam, Perungudi, Chennai recently.

This state  level event was hosted by All India United Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation,Karate Association of India & World karate Federation, wherein Karatekas  from  various schools across the state participated. Master Mugundan  proved his mettle in karate kumeli and kata.
