His visit to London was originally for the  honour of receiving the prestigious BFI (British Film Institute) fellowship award but Cruise added a  thrilling twist to his trip. Tom was set to receive the award for his outstanding contribution to cinema,  celebrating his decades long impact on the global film industry. As the countdown for Mission: Impossible –  The Final Reckoning continues, it’s more than clear that Cruise is not just ending the franchise, but  cementing his legacy. The film is also set to make a highly anticipated premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film  Festival, marking another milestone in its global launch.

Ahead of the release of the final chapter of his high octane Mission: Impossible saga, the star stunned the  fans with a real time practical stunt. Dressed in a sharp suit, Tom stood atop the London IMAX building  which was wrapped in an eye-catching poster of his newest film – Mission: Impossible – The Final  Reckoning. The combination of Cruise’s live appearance, the monumental significance of the movie and the  dramatic imagery of the poster truly made it feel like a scene from one of his films. His appearance was not  just a promotional gimmick, but a celebration of theatrical cinema itself.
