TN on fast track to $1 trillion economy: Stalin
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has expressed pride over the state’s economic progress, stating that it is rapidly moving towards the ambitious goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
In a statement issued today, CM Stalin highlighted that Tamil Nadu has achieved a remarkable 9.69% growth rate, the highest in India. The Chief Minister credited this success to the government’s inclusive development policies and strategic planning aimed at ensuring sustained economic progress.
“Tamil Nadu is making rapid strides towards the $1 trillion economic goal with strength and determination. With a stable administration and a clear long-term vision, the Dravidian Model is shaping the future of our people,” Stalin stated.
The state’s impressive 9.69% growth rate outpaces many other regions in India, reinforcing its position as a major economic powerhouse. The government has been actively investing in infrastructure, industrial development, education, healthcare, and social welfare to ensure holistic growth.
The state has set an ambitious target of achieving a $1 trillion economy, which will require sustained growth, increased investment, and expansion in key sectors like manufacturing, IT, automotive, agriculture, and services.
The government is also focusing on attracting foreign investments, boosting exports, and enhancing employment opportunities.
