The teaser of ‘Thai Kishavi’, directed by debutant director Sivakumar Murugesan and jointly produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Fashion Studios, which select quality stories and provide opportunities to talent, has been released. The film stars actress Radhika in the lead role and is directed by Sivakumar Murugesan.
Debutant director Sivakumar Murugesan shared about the film, “I worked as an assistant director to director Manikandan. Sivakarthikeyan sir, after listening to the story of this film, advised me to give the actors I expected more than the expected budget and shoot it as I wanted without making any compromises in the story. Accordingly, the film has turned out well.
“It will be a story about a 75-year-old woman and her family living in Kadupatti in Usilampatti village, and will talk about the customs, speech, problems in their families, and rituals of the people living in that area. We have shot these things commercially, without taking a serious tone, but with a mix of humor and entertainment, so that people can enjoy them in theaters,” he said.
About the actors in the film, he said, “In this film, Radhika Madam plays the role of a 75-year-old woman named Paunuthai. Her three sons, Singampuli, Aruldas, and Bala Saravanan, play the roles. Rachel Rebecca plays the role of her daughter, and Muthukumar plays the role of her son-in-law. Munishkanth Ramadoss plays the role of Pennyquick, an important person in the village. Apart from this, Ilavarasu and George play the other two important roles. Moreover, many non-actor villagers from around Usilampatti village also play roles in this film.”
When asked about the technical team, he said, “Vivek Vijayaraj, who worked with Manikandan sir like me, has done the cinematography for this film. San Lokesh has worked as the editor, Ramu Thangaraj as the art director, and Nivas K Prasanna as the music composer. We have vividly talked about the progress of women and the value of family through the people in the village and their lifestyle. I am sure that the fans who watch this film in theaters will definitely celebrate.”
