Thanu gives a major update about Vaadi Vaasal
Suriya and Vetri Maaran, joined hands for a raw and rustic drama titled Vaadi Vaasal.
In the movie, Suriya will be seen in dual roles of a father and son. The film’s story has ancient traditional Tamil sport of Jallikattu as its backdrop.
Vaadi Vaasal’s shoot is yet to resume even though Suriya had commenced the practice of bull taming nearly 2 years ago.
In a recent interview, the film’s producer Kalaipuli Thanu revealed that director Vetri Maaran is currently holding talks with a top VFX studio in London.
The veteran producer further revealed that they have spent over Rs 1.50 crore just on bull taming practice sessions and the test shoot with Suriya.
Vaadi Vaasal’s shoot is expected to begin soon after Suriya and Vetri Maaran wrap up their ongoing projects, Kanguva and Viduthalai 2.
Music director GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the soundtrack for Vaadi Vaasal. Andrea Jeremiah is the leading lady.
