Thani Oruvan 2 to go on floors in April 2024
Thani Oruvan 2, the sequel to Jayam Ravi starrer Thani Oruvan, will reportedly start rolling from April 2024.
According to sources, the Mohan Raja directorial will tentatively commence shooting from the second week of April next year.
Earlier this year, the filmmaker had announced the sequel to the 2015 action thriller movie.
On the film’s eighth anniversary, the makers released a promo video of the sequel, announcing that both Jayam and Nayanthara will reprise their roles.
The upcoming film is expected to be an extension of the first part, and the team is currently in discussions regarding the antagonist for the sequel.
Hip Hop Thamizha, who had scored music for Thani Oruvan, will be onboard for the new project as well.
Jayam, who is currently shooting for Brother and Genie, also has Kadhalikka Neramillai with Nithya Menen in the offing.
