Story:
A leading producer commits suicide as the movie bankrolled by him is leaked online even before the first show is over.
This puts enormous pressure on the Producers’ Council, which is forced to look into the matter as the industry awaits the release of ₹300 crore movie Garuda in the next 10 days, and the film’s producer has bet his entire career on it.
The team behind Tamil Rockerz announce publicly that they’ll release Garuda online a day before its theatrical release.
The producer council seeks the help of ACP ARun VIjay to look for the people behind the Tamil Rockerz.
Analysis:
Directed by Arivazhagan, the movie has so many moments which keeps the audience invested. The lead up to the leak threat and the film’s grand release the audience on the edge of their seats.
Arun Vijay is not new to the role of a cop and delivers an efficient performance.
His character stands out as the ACP and the investigation portions are interesting as well.
Vani Bhojan is limited to a one note character. While her story is quite dark and it isn’t explained or explored well. Azhagam Perumal deserves a special mention for his performance.
Tharun as the villain is good but could have been better. Technical aspects of the movie are passable.
