Quarter Cutting

STORY:

A gang (Hrishikesh, Sanchita Shetty, Vivek, Amzath Khan and Arjun Chidambaram) makes a living through burglary. The team members come to know about a house where valuables are hidden.

As they go there to steal the treasure, they realise that the place is haunted. Now starts the cat and mouse game.

The rest is all about whether they are able to come out of the house successfully with the booty or not.

ANALYSIS:

Hrishikesh has performed well. Not just him, the entire team has done its part very well. But it is Miya George who steals the show. Vivek, the veteran, shows his experience.

Anirudh has scored music for a film in horror genre for the first time in his career and his work is one of the major highlights of the movie.

Cinematography and editing departments are adequate, while special effects team has put in good efforts.

On the flip side, the story is not just popular, but also predictable. Hence, audience are unable to connect them with the flick. But still, RUM is watchable.
