Boomika movie review

Gautham (Vidhu), his wife Samyuktha (Aishwarya Rajesh, a psychologist), and their son arrive at a hill station to work on a lucrative real estate contract for a politician.

Gowtham’s sister Aditi (Madhuri) and his environmentalist BFF Gayathri (Surya Ganapathy) accompany them to a mansion.

Very soon the main characters of the movie begin to experience supernatural activities.

What is haunting them and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

Director Rathindran has handled the movie in a noble way and has clearly conveyed the message that he has set out to deliver.

The hardwork of Rathindran is evident. However, he could have concentrated a little more on the screenplay. Aishwarya Rajesh does well as the calm and composed Samyuktha.

Surya Ganapathy makes an impressive debut. Madhuri delivers a decent performane.

Vidhu delivers a restricted performance which is needed for his role. Pavel Navageethan shines in one of the most important sequences of the fil.

The efforts and performance of Avantika who has acted as the ghost needs a special mention.

Roberto Zazzara’s cinematography looks elegant and the overall look and feel of the film are also aesthetic.
