Story:
Sri Vidhya (Sayyeshaa), a final-year college student, is admitted to a hospital in Chennai after suffering a minor injury.
The doctors there, who have other intentions, injects a harmful drug in her to put her in a coma.
That’s when Sri Vidhya’s soul finds a new lease of life inside a toy teddy bear, which was kept by one of the patients in the hospital.
It walks out alive with all the memories and seeks the help of a young man (Arya), who is suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The two later set out on a journey to expose the medical crimes. How did they manage to do it forms the rest of the story.
ANALYSIS:
Once again director Shakthi Soundar Rajan has touched upon a interesting storyline and has executed it well.
Arya’s impressive understated performance helps the viewer relate comfortably to the character. He looks excellent on screen and his chemistry with Sayyeshaa has worked really well.
The interaction scenes between Arya and the Teddy are a delight to watch. Sayyeesha impresses in the little screenspace which she gets.
The Motion Capture technology used for the Teddy character is neatly done. Director Magizh Thirumeni who has made his acting debut impresses as well. Sakshi Agarwal is apt as the psychiatrist.
Imman’s foot-tapping numbers and background score are a big support to the movie. Overall, the film gives a good viewing experience.
