STORY:
Parthi (Manikandan) arrives at his village after hearing the news of his father Muthukutty’s (Samuthirakani) demise.
As the people around him wail and cry their hearts out, Parthi is reminded of the memories with his father and their strained relationship.
All of a sudden, the dead body goes missing, and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
ANALYSIS:
Director Halitha Shameem surprises us all with some solid dark comedy without being insensitive.
The screenplay is cleverly written in a way that it constantly switches between humour and drama. Halitha has conveyed a strong message in the movie, which is going to stay for a while with the audience.
Samuthirakani gets a different role from his usual films. He plays an innocent but naughty old man and is a treat to watch.
Manikandan’s acting is realistic and suits the role well. Manikandan’s chemistry with Samuthirakani is top notch and his performance is so beautiful.
Theni Eshwar’s camera has captured the emotions of the lead actors beautifully. Kaber Vasuki and Aruldev’s music gels along with the movie and gives the needed feel.
