STORY:
Altheya Johnson (Andrea Jeremiah) is the head of human resources department in a software company and earns big. On a rainy day, she meets a wanderer Prabhu (Vasanth Ravi).
They become friends slowly and Altheya shares with him her story- that she is a divorce and has a son. A relationship blossoms between the two.
But all is not well after some point of time, as their affair gets complicated and the two part ways. However, as days go, they realise the meaning of true love.
ANALYSIS
You can expect messages to the society from Ram and his films. Taramani too does that, however not in a preachy manner. In fact, the director has done it this time with a riveting story.
One of the big highlights of the film is the voice-over by Ram, which makes us sail through in an engaging manner. While Vasanth Ravi is good and solid, the scene stealer is Andrea Jeremiah.
As a bold and independent woman, she has lived the character, we can say. And she seems to be having no hesitation in appearing in smoking, drinking and other such bold scenes.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score is good and Theni Eeshwar’s cinematography contributes a lot to the movie. To sum it up, Taramani is a job well done, despite some minor flaws.
